Yeah, i'm talking about variables with no red box around them. Could it be done?? It would be incredibly helpful, because a lot of people want to have scores without red boxes, and without having to make tonnes of seperate sprites which work on another variable!!! How many of you guys have had the same thought?

You can change the color of variables by "hacking" scratch. Just open Scratch. Then press Shift and click the R in Scratch and click "turn fill screen off". Then right click on your variable displayer to select it. Keep clicking on it to get more and more specific. It should take six right-clicks, and then it will say "WatcherReadoutFrame". Click the Red circle and it will open up a drop-down menu. Left-click "change color" and select a color.

if you don't have the time to do that, or have no idea what was just said, it's a good idea, open variables...

You could just use sprites for the displays... it really isn't that hard. Plus, if they removed the red box the Stage monitor would be hard to see.

Since each sprite only has one editable text field, I think it would be neat to be able to change its font/size/color/style/contents. This would be an easy way to display variables in a nicer way than the ugly red boxes we have now.

1. It looks red-orange.
2. I agree. It would be better with multiple colors, sizes, etc.
