Yes, unfortunately. No matter how nice you are and how hard you worked to get famous, people will be jealous and resentful.

Well if you were poopular, I think people wouldn't like to be around you anyway.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

The world will never be a perfect place.
As you gain more respect, more people feel envious of your ability and standing, gaining a lust for popularity. Some even go to odd extremes, just to gain a bit of respect, having no conscience of what it will do to the many nice people in this life.
