Yeah, Don't spam, ask around if you need help (in the right forum0, don't post useless threads, etc. If you do these correctly, you will get very popular very fast. people will look if you use the forums correctly unlike the latest spammer Clan_of_corruption, who if he did join, would get hurtful comments because he spammed the forums… I think it's been a minute so I can post (the 60 second rule)

Yeah, I'm pretty popular here. Or was until I got Flash… but the free trial messed it up… I'm still on… anyways, Scratch is one of the only noob friendly programming sites, so upload whatever projects. Usually no matter what you'll get good comments except the occasional "this sucks! my games are better!" which usually indicates their games are in fact not so great and they desperately need views
