I know that most of you aren't going to read the long essay I typed below... so I'll just jump to the most important part first. (This is a restatement of something said below)
UNCODED SOFTWARE IS ACCEPTING NEW SCRATCH "EMPLOYEES"!
Please post below or in the Uncoded Forums if you're interested.
I've marked the passage below with "*"
============================================
And, now, onto the real post.
This is a topic that exists because This One exists.
Uncoded software is a nonprofit organization that has decided to use Scratch as a distribution platform. (What does that mean? I don't know either. ) Basically, we are making Scratch projects, even though we don't only make Scratch projects.
We currently don't have a lot of members right now, mostly administrators. Even less of us are Scratchers. I think that it's time that we accepted some Scratchers into our organization.
********************
Currently our organization is very loosely organized. There are only two general requirements for being a Uncoded Scratcher: First, you must place the name "Uncoded Software" on at least one project every month (if you make any projects that month). Second, those projects with "Uncoded Software" may not be overly simple (1 Sprite, 0 Scripts is a no-no ), contain any inappropriate or offensive content, or be overly graphical or violent.
********************
We do not need to know your real name for you to join. As long as you provide us with something that sounds like a name (Like Gregred Franeir - random pronounceable characters), we'll be happy.
We will be awarding you with Uncredits for any particularly good projects you make. Uncredits may be useful in the feature if Uncoded ever releases a real game.
We may have company projects from time to time, where you will be asked (but not forced) to help out. These projects will help us learn to work together (and get to know each other better).
Um... Oh. One more thing. You MAY be a member of any other company at the same time. You may also attach two company names to a project. (For example, you may say "Created by Crank_INC and Uncoded Software". We don't mind which comes first, so if your other company says that they must be first, you can let them be first.)
Once we get more non-scratch members, we might be able to help you move on to bigger, better, and more widespread programming languages (like Java, Flash, and stuff like that)
You may want to use the Uncoded logo in your projects as long as you don't make fun of the company or the logo.

Is there an Uncoded Boycott or something similar going on right now?

Not that I know of....you may have just posted at an odd time and not received many views, and then since this topic wasn't updated for a while no more people went to see it... Sry, I'd just prefer to stay independent--I won't be joining any of these *companies *

Anyone else?

I never said that I based it on yours... I made this post based on yours.

The next Scratch Club is supposed to be "Animated Lyrics"--create a project using words from a song. But we need projects to feature as examples to start the gallery! Would you be willing or interested in making one?

Sorry, I'd like to join, but I don't like the idea of being loyal to two companies at the same time... sorry again.
