Disable the downloading...

Is there any way to disable the "download" feature like you can with the "comments and tagging" feature?

Re: Disable the downloading...

Code sharing is part of Scratch's core philosophy and such, but if you really need to hide code, Jens' Scratch2Exe takes a Scratch file and packages it with Jens' Chirp to create a fake .exe that cannot be modified. Or try S65's EXEScratch, which packages a project with the Java player.

No, see, I had wanted to create a project that had a password-entry script, but the project was too easy to download, giving users unlimited entry.

Maybe hide the script somewhere they wouldn't expect? Or use many broadcasts that make the password possible but hard to decode?

Re: Disable the downloading...

If people want to dowload the project to find the password, let them do it.

But then, you know, they could still figure it out eventually. Or they could read your post.
