How long do you have to wait to becomea Scratcher?

How long do you have to wait to become a Scratcher (instead of a new scratcher)? Or does it depend on the posts you've written? I've been on the frum everyday since I've registered. If I keep this up when will I be a Scratcher?

It depends on your of activity. So yes, if you keep doing what you're doing, it should only be a few weeks before you're upgraded.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Its all Dependant, not only on your forum activity but your activitiy on the main site as well. Keep up constructive postings on the forums and constructive comments and should be a Scratcher reasonably quickly  smile

Hi purika!
to become a scratcher it is usually takes about 15 days but it all depends on your activity i was a scratcher in 10 but my other account it took almost 2 months to become a scratcher.  so stay active and scratch on!

No. New Scratchers wait 360, but it used to be 600, and before that, 1000. Scratchers wait 60. Moderators and the Scratch Team don't have any wait.

All you new Scratchers are lucky. It took me 3 years to become a Scratcher!

Back in my day.... there were no laws that censored the internet... now, there are.... nah.

@bbbeb-do you count the time where YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT SCRATCH?
in that case, it took me 9 years to become a scratcher.

Um, bbbeb, the New Scratcher rule didn't exist until June 2010  neutral

It depends your activity both on the main Scratch site as well as the forums, so the more you are active, the faster you will be promoted to Scratcher. It's worth it at the end, I guarantee it.  wink

so it really depends on your overall activity. Some people had told me it depends on how many posts you do and that is the only thing. I believe most of you because you posts make a little more sense. I cant wait to be a scratcher because I am tired of waiting 6 minites between posts.

Yeah, it does depend on overall activity; posts, projects, comments, all of them are factors.

Hmm, it seems you haven't posted up any projects, though, and have made few comments on others projects.  hmm

Remember, earning Scratcher status depends on both activity on the main site and in the forums.  wink
