I don't know where this belongs, but I want to jailbreak ipod touch iOS 4.2.1 untheared.
I use WINDOWS!!!
The reason I don't want to downgrade because I own an iPod Touch 4g. I THINK if I downgrade, bye bye camera! Please respond on how to jailbreak this iOS. (Please notice, I will NOT accept Redsn0w!)

I'm pretty sure this belongs here, but you're a little too picky...
If you don't know how to do it, then others may not...
Why don't you just use Pwnagetool?
Because I found out that Pwnagetool has been CANCLED for Windows

I actually looked around for how to do this a while back, and the only way to jailbreak a iPod Touch 4G is a tethered jailbreak, which means that to turn on the iPod without it un-jailbreaking itself, it has to be connected to a computer with the jailbreaking software (IDK which one it was).

If you jailbreak, you can't download from the iTunes store. So no music, TV shows, movies, podcasts, iTunes U lessons, audiobooks, or iTunes gift cards. You also can't go on the App Store, so no apps. :'(

Your false, because my brother has his jailbroken, and he has a few apps that do Tv, movies and all of that.

Wrong. Completely wrong.
I have a jailbroken iPhone and I have over 150 apps, from the app store.
Then, I also have a ton of apps for Cydia.
Shame rock got cancelled though...

Just do it tethered. You won't reboot as often. I jailbroke my iPod touch 4G with iOS 4.2.1 tethered, and it's still in jailbroken mode for more than 2 days.
I used redsn0w, because greenpois0n and limera1n both failed on me.

Yep, Kaybee's right- that's completely and totally incorrect. The only thing jailbreak breaks is your warranty, and that's fixed as soon as you unjailbreak.

No, actually you have access to ALL The app store apps plus some they choose not to release. You can get everything from apple for FREE - but if anything happens to your ipod, YOUR problem.

The only way to jailbreak 4.2.x is tethered, and I think the only working tool so far is Redsn0w. So you're kind of out of luck there. I know your pain; I had an iPod Touch 2nd gen (MC model) running 4.1, and for a long time there there were no untethered jailbreaks for it.

Do you mean the only way to jailbreak 4.2.x is tethered?

I really don't reboot as all, I just lock.

So a tethered jailbreak won't be so bad. If your device never reboots, you will be fine.
Doing stuff such as locking the device or restarting springboard won't take it out of its jailbroken mode.
Either that, or just wait longer for an untethered one. I saw none for windows yet.

My brother is an expert, and he said no! He knows his jailbreaks!
