I did a test on this: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/cadvan6-testinglab/1236874 and it seems that projects upload with practically nothing on them, but when I put in a song - even at the lowest compression - I get Failed: Unknown Reason after a while. Uploading works on my friend's computer but not mine. Has anyone else experienced this, any help is greatly appreciated.

If it's only a small project, have you tried uploading it without compressing it? Sometime's Scratch can't upload very small projects if their compressed - Although the error message is usually different..
If not, are you able to upload bigger projects still?

This happens to me whenever I try to upload or update a project. When this happens, I keep trying to upload the project until it uploads successfully, but I usually have to try to upload it about 10-20 times before it will upload.

Okay, I'll try that, see if it works.

you said it happens when you try to upload even the smallest bit of media. try unticking the 'compress sounds and images' checkbox when uploading. as long as the project is less than 10mb, it should work just fine.

Your suggestion seems to be working so far. I did get my internet was uprgraded last night so that might be a contributing factor. I'll try with the checkbox on - see what it does. And I'll try uploading tommorow. Thanks. And thanks to all who replied ^^.
