Euler Angles help

If you have somthing in 3D space at (x,y,z) and it is pointing to a point at (a,b,c), how do you calculate the Euler angles of the object?

Please help, it is vital for a project I am making.

Re: Euler Angles help

Do you know trigonometry?

Re: Euler Angles help

Sort of. I can generally get it to work for me, but sometimes my brain crashes.  tongue

Re: Euler Angles help

we haven't covered Euler Angles yet, we're starting it soon, i think.

Re: Euler Angles help

I don't know what Euler angles are (I've never taken trigonometry, I'm only in algebra 2), but I think that, considering the complexity of them, Euler angles wouldn't be a good set of variables to use for Scratch 3D. In my projects I used a different approach for 3D (I don't remember much what I did any more) but you could still try the Euler angles because it could work very well.

To be honest, I didn't know about them until I started researching 3D projection. I'm going to keep going with my 3D engine though.
