Scratch resources is running on Scratch Server Hosting.
I have a server running at my house, that one should download new resources from the SR server every once in a while (2 times/day for example) then run a batch file with squeak in headless mode, and then upload the thumbnail images to the Scratch Resources server again

Can you plz explain In simple terms what you are asking?
No, I dont think I can help (Atleast for now[Untill I learn Squeak]) but I think my problem is quite similar to yours.
Thank you

Basically, I'm looking for 2 different tweaks:
1) An image that exports a snapshot of the scripts to a file when loading a sprite from the command line.
2) An image that exports a thumbnail from the sprite when loading a sprite from the command line.
Both functions are of course implemented into Scratch image, I just want them to happen on startup; It should be such an easy tweak

Do tell me when you get it. Thanks.
BTW,
You should try BYOB/Panther.... maybe they have the feature.
OR Try getting directly in Contact with jens/ some moderator/ member of scratch team/ member of panther team.... Maybe they can help.
Thanks

I would be ideal for the Panther team; I would help you, but I don't know how to run things off a command-line, so I will ask Jens (via email)

He explained how here:
http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=308768#p308768 (just another post in the thread) There's already quite some help on the first page actually ;D
I would be soooooooooo grateful if you could to this for me!!
btw, I think the auto-export-script snapshot code could be placed somewhere in importSpriteOrProject... I forgot where I found it though. There is also code for exporting the script snapshot so it's just a matter of automating but I failed to do it myself

I would put it in the "startup" method.
