We peeps here at Moscow have been experiencing a lot of fire and explosion-related phenomenons lately. About a year ago, one of our subway stations exloded. In the summer of the same year, we had a lot of forest fires. Yesterday, an airport exploded! Eek! O.o
Looks like we've got some serious pyromaniacs here. Even the weather seems to be obsessed with fire. Well, not at the moment, but still.
Weird, isn't it?

Is pyromaniacs the right term for bomb users? I thought that was just for fires...
Also couldn't the forest fires been natural disasters since Russia's air is very dry?

Dry air comes more with winter and places where it's cold rather than summer. Russia's temperature's are very cold seeing as it's far up in the North Hemisphere (well a lot of it)

you couldn't make such generalizations over such a vast piece of land though. Unless she's just referring to Moscow area?

I'm sure you could find a study documenting Russia's air temperatures throughout the entire country somewhere. I am not sure, I'll have to go look into this forest fires thing.

They were natural disasters. As I said, the weather was a pyromaniac. D:
The air in the Moscow region is anything but dry, especially during summers. The fires were caused by phenomenal temperatures combined with the absense of rain that summer.

Cold is not exactly the word to describe it. Continental is more like it.
