Scratch

Mike slowly sits up in his hospital bed. He looks out the window- there's his parents' car shiny and new. They're walking out. He looks to the other side to see Heather with her Jowee and Mari dolls sitting on her bedside table. But something seems to be wrong...
A black mist forms. Wilfre steps out, and Mike only has one- no, two thoughts.
"Who is he?"
and
"Where have I seen him before, and why is he..."
He had no time to finish his last thought before his parents disintegrated into the mist.
"Mom!" Heather yells weakly. Wilfre disappears too, and Heather clutches her doll. She suddenly remembers everything. She hands the doll to Mike.
