No New Users Column

Ok mods, how come there isn't a newest users column any more? Is it because not very many people are joining? Is it some sort of glitch? Please can you answer as soon as possible.

Thx for replying in advance

Re: No New Users Column

It's a glitch.
I looked at the page source and it's supposed to be there, but it's in a comment, so it doesn't show.

Re: No New Users Column

They hid it because the sidebar is too big!

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Re: No New Users Column

I wouldn't call it a glitch.  tongue  The Scratch Team just removed it, probably because they thought it was unnecessary and took up space.

Re: No New Users Column

They also removed the links to the original Top viewed/loved/remixed and put them in comments.
Look at the source of this page.

Code:

<h2>Explore Projects featured projects</h2>

        <h3>
            Do you want to know how to <a href="/redirect/share">upload your project</a>? </h3>
    </div>

    <div id="gallery_menu">
<!--
    <a href="/channel/recent">
    <span class="button2">
    newest    </span>
    </a>
    &nbsp;
//-->
    <a href="/channel/featured">
    <span class="button2_selected">
    featured    </span>

    </a>
    &nbsp;
<!--
    <a href="/channel/topviewed">
    <span class="button2">
    top viewed    </span>
    </a>
    &nbsp;
    <a href="/channel/toploved">
    <span class="button2">
    top loved    </span>
    </a>
    &nbsp;
    <a href="/channel/remixed">
    <span class="button2">
    top remixed    </span>
    </a>
//-->
    &nbsp;
    <a href="/channel/surprise">
    <span class="button2">
    surprise!    </span>
    </a>
    &nbsp;

        <a href="/channel/friends_latest">
    <span class="button2">
    friends' latest    </span>
    </a>
    </div>

                    <div id="1526471" class="gallerythumb clearme">
                                <a href="/projects/EvieRules13/1526471"><img src="/static/projects/EvieRules13/1526471_sm.png" title="StoneClan- The Legend of the White Devil (Part 1)" alt="StoneClan- The Legend of the White Devil (Part 1)" width="148" height="111"></a>
                <h3><a href="/projects/EvieRules13/1526471">StoneClan- The Legend of the White Devil (Part 1)</a></h3>

                <p><strong>By: </strong>
                <a href="/users/EvieRules13">EvieRules13</a>                 </p>
                <p><strong>Views</strong>: 48|<strong>LoveIt's</strong>: 15</p>
                <p><strong>Description</strong>: FEATURED???? I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!

I finally finished part one! There are a few glitches, but nothing too serious. TURN ON
THE SOUND THERE'S TALKING!!!!!!
So... storyline:

Moonpaw had two siblings, but they both died, so he's the only one left. Sunpaw and
Flamepaw are sisters, but Sunpaw's older ...                 <a href="#" id="link647685470" onclick=" event.returnValue = false; return false;">show more</a>

If you don't understand that, here is a small basic HTML lesson.
<> for HTML is like [] for BBCode.
<h(number)> is a heading. Bigger numbers are smaller headings. They end with </h(number)>
<!--Is a comment. Comments do not get shown on the page. Nothing inside comments get shown either. They end -->
<a href=""> is the link. It end </a>.
I don't really know what <span> and <div> are. I'm guessing <span> is something that only goes for a certain span of text.
<strong> is strong text. It is shown as Bold.

So it seems they hid the old links to Top-loved, Top-viewed, Top-remixed, and the old most recent.
