Renaming Scratch: a scratch survey

All about Scratch?

I assume Scratch got it's name because if you scratch a record it's like remixing- you get the original record [original project] then scratch it [remix it] so you make different music [different project]. Or maybe it's to be similar to squeak. Anyway what would you call Scratch if you had the opportunity? I'd probably call it something quick and easy like 'Swift' or 'Block'd'.

This is why Scratch is called Scratch.

I think the name "Scratch" is fine... if I had to change it, I would change it to "Cat" because the default sprite is a cat!  big_smile

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.
