Most of you would say the first human beings on earth are Adam and Eve, but really they are not. The truth is that nobody really knows for sure, but the human beings that are discovered is a complex process to learn, but I will give it away simply. And remember, the first human being had no name, so I will give you the type of it. And I said Humans, the correct scientific term is bipedal animals of Homindae. Bipedal animals are animals that are most comfortable walking with two legs and Homindae is the great ape family. What am I going to talk about is genus, but not all of genus. Genus is a low taxonomic rank used for fossils. Taxonomy is the study of science.
The earliest human every discovered is called the Homo gautengensis. It was just discovered last May and thats the only information they have on it.
The next earliest human is called the Ardipithecus. The name of the first fossil is Ardi. It lived about 4.4 million years ago.
The next earliest human is called the Australopithecus. This was discovered by Mary Leakey and its first fossil was named Lucy. It lived about 3.2 million years ago.
The next earliest human was called Homo Habilis. It lived about 2.3 million years ago.
(Now the order is going to change)
The last living human was called the Homo Erectus. It lived about 1.8 million years ago. It lived in the Pleistocene Epoch (the Ice Age time) and it had the smallest brain compacity of any of the other humans
The only type of human living today is called Homo Sapien. We are Homo Sapien and surprisingly we are the only bipedal animals in Hominidae! We lived about 2.2 million years ago. We are also the only hominids that half of us have light skin! First Homo Sapiens had longer arms, they were shorter, hairier and there faces are longer. The first modern-day looking humans appeared in Africa about 200,000 years ago. The first humans that had modern-day behavior (ex. Smarter, more intelligent ect.) appeared 50,000 years ago. There is more to be discovered.
There is more, the human that is the most related to the Homo Sapien is the Neanderthal which was called a subspecies of the Homo Sapien. It was the smartest human at the time, and it lived in the Pleistocene Epoch, with the Homo erectus.
I forgot some details: This started way before anybody was born. Nobody knows for sure when it started but from my mind, it started all back when the universe was born to the day we live. Let me explain, (this might be false, nobody knows for sure) the universe was born when it was just a tiny little hot atom, so hot that the atom expanded. It expanded more until it became a Universe, not a atom. Atoms started forming in the universe, causing molecules, causing particles, causing stars. Stars never last forever, so how do they die? Stars die when they become giant red and hot rocks, called red giants. They explode, causing a supernova to happen and dust go into the universe, and a supernova is a gather of the dust made from a red giant. Continuing, the dust started to form round shapes, called planets. The planets created objects on the surface. Lets say Earth, the first object on earth was water, and water evolved to other sea things and those sea things evolved. Finally, the particles made the most wonderful creation of all, life. The first life was fish, and the fish evolved to dinosaur like fish, creating dinosaurs, creating more dinosaurs. Finally, the dinosaurs became extinct, but the evolution continued. Dinosaurs evolved to many animals, but one of the animals was the ape. The ape continued evolving into different forms of apes, and finally, the human was born. Thats how we came to be.

Also contrary to popular belief, Neanderthals were smarter and cleverer than other humans of the time (I believe Homo Erectus, but I forget).
Just a random fact that's semi-related.

I don't think its Homo Erectus, because Homo Erectus had the smallest brain compacity than the other humans, but thanks, I never new that

You really don't know that for sure. You shouldn't say stuff like that on Scratch because you might offend someone.

Sorry, but I'm filled with fact only. There is no proof the first humans were Adam and Eve. People just have to face the truth, thats how the universe came to be.

What if by mind-bogglingly miraculous chance, the first male and female Homo Sapiens invented and adopted names, calling themselves Adam and Eve with no biblical relation, and then names were forgotten again and unused for the next couple thousand of years when we started to really use them.
Gotta embrace the possibilities.

I know about that, but how do people know if thats true? I'm just following the fact that has been discovered.

It's not truth, it's theory. All creation or evolution beliefs are theory. No one knows for sure what the real truth is. It's only truth to the people who believe it.
I personally, believe in the theory of Intelligent Design. God set things in motion for everything to evolve, with the 7 days as described in Genesis being millions of years on earth. However I believe humans, without denying the existence of very similar creatures, were created and placed on earth at one single time, these being Adam and Eve.
My opinion has been shared. This is what I believe is the truth. I'm not forcing it on anyone.

This discussion seems fine, let's just try to keep religion out of it as much as possible and discuss the much more interesting facts about the early development of humans as a species.

Some girl at my school hated me for believing in Intelligent Design but also thinking creatures adapt.

It's not much more interesting honestly.

Where's that punctuation mark?
I read somewhere that all humans alive today are in fact descended from a single woman who lived hundreds of thousands of years ago, dubbed "Mitochondrial Eve". I think it's really interesting how certain truths, even if they aren't literal, sometimes show up in our creation stories.
And since I'm already being a know-it-all, the correct species name is Homo sapiens with an 's' at the end.

We aren't Homo Sapiens. We are Homo Sapiens Sapien. Or Homo Sapien Sapiens
