drawing styles

well when i posted my coloring contest a bunch of ppl came telling me i stole the picture from tribbleofdoom or used it as reference, when i told them that i didn't and my drawing style changed they didn't believe me! Instead they made me feel like an idiot and said things like, "You didn't draw that! Look how bad your other drawings are, you couldn't possibly be this good, you must have stolen it!". I didn't steal anything, when i told them that i didn't they said i was a terrible liar.......i deleted their comments but it still annoys me.....what do i do?  sad

Re: drawing styles

Hey jbutts10, did you flag the comments or delete them outright? Flagging the comments also deletes the comment while sending a message over to the Scratch Team about it.

If the mean commenting continues, you can add the users to your ignore list so they can't comment on your projects any more. If it becomes a serious problem, feel free to Contact the Scratch Team directly about the issue. Hope this helps you out!  smile

here are some ideas for what you should do

1.flag the rude and hurtful comments first.

2.if the comments continue, don't draw like tribbleofdoom

3.if on your other contests this continues, sadly, delete all of your criticized projects.

I don't think some of those ideas are very good. You should, like the others have said, delete/flag the comments, but you shouldn't stop drawing or delete your projects. Just keep drawing, and show them that you have actually gotten better or have changed styles, and you don't need their approval to know you're doing great. They're in the wrong, not you!

I'd go with llamalover's advice previously and say that you shouldn't delete your projects.

If you really didn't do anything wrong, then there is no reason for deleting your project. Keep practicing drawing and developing your style.  smile

they have no right to say that

I mean everytime I post a project my art improves. It improves every month, every week sometimes
