Yes, essentially they can spawn in any water, but because they can't swim upwards, they generally after a while end up at the most bottom layers of water.  wink

That's true, so you'll have to go out into an open area of water(no surrounding land for a while) and go underwater.

The mob farm was failed anyway. D: Couldn't make it work properly.

Here's the watchtower I made in SX(Scratchia Xen, my version of Scratchia):

The top is cobblestone pillars and a moon-roof  big_smile

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I found this huge underground cave that had over 100 iron, over 200 coal, 50ish gold, 50ish redstone, and 50ish diamond. And that was only in the left-top corridor  big_smile
