They are both fabulous games, and both well made, but my vote goes to glitchfinder.

Re: Scratch OFF!!! Vote now!

I'll start by saying I liked both projects quite a lot.  Now I'll say what I liked and didn't about each and decide from there.

TheGameMaster's:  I liked how you implemented some nicely made ideas such as the magnet lift and time travel.  The generic style and visible color sensing could have been made better, but the puzzle schemes were for the most part innovative.  The buttons hidden or not were glitch free and a good feature.  The magnet lift was a nice feature but would sometimes deactivate midair or take a second to start lifting you.  The achievements were good for replay value, nice touch.

Glitchfinder's:  This game provides controls and a play style that differ from what you normally see.  The use of sprites was resourceful and I found hardly any glitches.  Each of the four stages had different level designs, contributing to replay value, and you could always play again to try and get a better distance or score.  The character would occasionally go into a wall ad treat it as a floor, but implementing walls would go against the style of the game.

Final decision: Glitchfinder
Glitchfinder's game had good graphics, controls and gameplay.  TheGameMaster's fell a bit behind on graphics, but his innovative level and feature design made up for it.  It was a tough decision, but I'm going with glitchfinder.

No hard feelings, TheGameMaster.  I liked your game very much, but in a Scratch Off I can't pick both games.

Re: Scratch OFF!!! Vote now!

TheGameMaster1231's
Project is what I vote.
I like it more.
The Glitchfinder's was fun, but sometimes the gravity mechanic was kind of annoying.
TheGameMaster1231's was just a bit better because I really liked the dark atmosphere and the Lavender Town Music and the switches.
-------------------------------------
So yeah, TheGameMaster1231's was just a bit better in my opinion,
So that would be my vote.

Re: Scratch OFF!!! Vote now!

I'm going to have to go with TheGameMaster on this one.

Basically Gravity Guy '2' is just the first one with better cover screen and added features, but the level design was exactly the same. The only major difference in actual gameplay seemed to be the fact of those anti bombs or whatever, but they always were right next to a bomb so I couldn't get them.

The other game however, has features that I didn't expect to see in a scratch game. Time travel? Really cool. Even though it didn't involve velocity, I didn't find myself um... walking through walls like I would in the other.

Both are well made, but IMO it's not a big contest.

Don't you guys start going off on a +1 streak now.
I don't even know why the first one deserved a +1.

Anyways, score is tied up at 6.

Re: Scratch OFF!!! Vote now!

my vote goes to the TheGameMaster1231.

glitchfinder's was okay, but it lacked originality seeing as it was based on a flash game "Gravity Gun."
thegamemaster1231 used some really great ideas and and although the programming wasn't perfect, with a few minor glitches here and there, i think it was a funner and more enjoyable game.
