Higher Res canvas

The current version of scratch only has a 480x360 res canvas. In the next version, it would be amazing to have higher resolutions, and maybe even 16:9/16:10 support. Ideally I would like to see support for 720p/1080p and widescreen. This would make scratch so much better!

Re: Higher Res canvas

I think there is a lot of chance the stage turns HD in Scratch 2.0  smile

Re: Higher Res canvas

I hope so, too.

I'd say there will probably several set stage sizes, rather than the option to punch in random numbers to make a massive stage down to a really tiny stage.

It'll be interesting to see what sizes the Scratch team chooses, though.  smile

Re: Higher Res canvas

I hope the next version of scratch is 1080p. It doesn't look as good in 1080p compared to 1024x768.

Re: Higher Res canvas

I'm just worried that a really high resolution stage would cause space issues. I suppose if you had the option to change the resolution, it would solve problems for people who can;t afford to have that space taken up.
