If you are using Scratch and are having some problems making blocks, here is a step by step tutorial on how to make an obsolete! block.
First...
Download panther
http://www.pantherprogramming.weebly.com
Second...
Open up a project that you want to add the obsolete! block to
Third...
Go to variables, And scroll down to the bottom and click on Make a Block
Fourth...
set the block name as obsolete!
Fifth...
enter this code exactly!!! 'obsolete' #- #-
Sixth...
Add it to a script!
Panther has almost nothing to with KT-R-BOT!!!

You don't need Panther. You don't have to make a spec either.
All you have to do is hack Scratch, post the new block, and download the project without saving the block to the library.
EDIT: Why would you even want to make an obsolete block anyway? It doesn't do anything.

Not true... You can use obsolete blocks for offline/online sensors:
Also, both your methods for obtaining them take too long. Just download a Scratch mod, get a sprite with a block that isn't in Scratch, export the sprite and open it in Scratch!

No it's not. In my way, you don't have to download anything, or move it to a different program. All you have to do is hack the block, post it, then download the project if you really want to see it.

Yes, but you can't export it to Scratch, so Panther is pretty much just for fun.

it does nothing.

except stop your script when online, but lets it run offline.
But that can be done with another very simple block, which doesn't require as much time spent on it.

What block?
Oh...
[set [color] effect to sqrt -1]
That's the (2) blocks, not the simpler (1) block.
