Practically nowhere has paid forums.
but 10-15 for the program.I know not many places make you pay for forums, but I mean if you HAD to...
I'd find all the scratch people I know on facebook, and we'd make a separate forum for discussing scratchy stuff.

Heh. I have scratch already downloaded, so they could NEVER be able to make me pay money.

First I'd sue the guy who came up with the idea, then I'd switch to Visual Basic 6 forever. Wait...I think I already switched? No, I still use Scratch every now and then! If only MIT banished that worthless in-program uploader and used online uploaders...
EDIT: My 444th post!

Because I really don't like open-source software that turns into a pay-for product![]()

this. Flash, I would pay for, but I wouldn't pay for a software just for posting games on this site.

Yeah, however much I love scratch, I would never pay for it.

Zero.
Scratch was designed as a platform to help people learn programming concepts more easily - requiring to pay to use it defeats that purpose since it limits access only to those who can pay for it, and there's no point in giving money to something that turns back on its ideals (there's no point in volunteering my time to moderate either for the same reason). I might as well be putting that money to pay for a Game Design course instead.

It surprises me, as a whole peole are thinking that if they had to pay for Scratch, they'd leave. Even a mod said so ^
Meh, I think for many people it'd just be [/scratch].

Well, think about it - most people, especially during this hard economy, don't have much money to spend on things.
And frankly, I don't see why I (or anyone, for that matter) should be forced to pay for something whose purpose is that of a learning tool. I think everyone should be given an equal amount of education and be free to access every learning resource out there, regardless of economic background (but I think I might be geting to far into the point where this could spark a political debate so I shall say nothing further on the issue
)
