How do you make the brush, or square tool, ue a solid color, instead of blending? I hate it when I use the brush, and it colors nearby pixels.

The brush and square tool are in tools. You can get solid colors by going to the bucket in tools and choosing solid color.

Once you click the square tool a tab with an image of a square and a circle should appear to the left of the brush width tab. Click it and select "Draw Filled shape".
EDIT:
That thing... click it.

No, but if I had this:
oooxxx
oooxxx
ooooxx
And I was trying to color the fourth o to an x in the 3rd row (red), and I wanted to use the square tool, how would I get it not to tint the 3rd o the that row (blue)?
