Ways to earn money?
I really want an iPod touch, and my parents are reluctant- Therefore I was up till' 12:00am researching ideas on how to earn money. I got a couple of ideas, but I'm not sure they're all going to happen/work. I'm really not sure if this should be in Miscellaneous or requests so I'm posting it in both. Thank you!!
Extra notes:
I am 10, turning 11 this year, so if you suggest something like go work at an ice cream shop or something, I will greatly appreciate it, BUT I will not be able to do that... To bad, I think if you work at an ice cream shop you get free ice cream
Although I love a little humor (Ok, a LOT of humor ) I prefer not to go on a sidewalk and pretend to be a hobo, although I really wont mind or get mad at you if you post that x3
Oh, and if you know how to make programs for computers or programs to make programs (That sounds funneh XD) I would GREATLY GREATLY appreciate that, even more greatly, I would appreciate if you tell me where I can get it o_O
No I am probably not going to get one for my Birthday- Besides who wants to wait till' June?
Please- NO BABYSITTING. I am responsible and sometimes act older then my age (not to brag) and I might be able to handle it, however I don't have anyone to babysit, and neither would anyone probably let me- Remember I'm only 10. (Oh and no pet sitting, or plant watering things, or lemonade stands Thanks!! )

Maybe you could get jobs from your family and neighbors? Things like removing weeds from a garden and such, not commercial jobs.

Maaaaaaaaybeeeee... Thanks!!! There IS a garden in the back of our house- But no one uses it nor' anyone else in the neighborhood, because we have deer around here. Their nice and we like em', but theres no gardening 
XD I can try with the repackaging thing- I have a lot of candy leftover from Christmas... Oooo 3 flavor fun dip o_O ooo XD OR I could sell 1,000 boxes of GS cookies... Nah that'll never happen =\

I know of a few people in my neck of the woods who have made some money from selling flowering geranium and other plants (bonsai) from seed or cuttings by using a small greenhouse or just some unused windowsill space in the house.
Small hand made crafted items you could sell at a tabletop or garage sale or even with your parents help why not see if there is anything you could sell on ebay..
anyway just suggestions.

Maybe earning some money by taking care of neighbors animals when they leave for vacation, I did a lot of money from that plus I got some for my birthday and mowing the lawn I saved up to get an iPod Touch which I am typing from now.

Explain to your parents that you need the iPod touch to research the competition so you can develop the next awesome app. Invite them to be investors in your software company.

I made $5.00 selling corn dogs and lunch items at school
