*sigh* I wish everyone, literally everyone, would be active on Techmaster. Instead, less than one-eigth of the group is active. Then this OS would move along much faster.

We will be getting more members soon from the wave 0S TW merge. If that does not work, I will hire more people

Since Greenboi isn't active right now, does another graphics person want to make a scroller? Soft319 perhaps?
wmays: please make the scroller. After that, would Trocket please embed it into TechMaster?

Trocket, please make a minimization system.

Hello, People! Can someone please fill me in on the progress so far? I'm new here.

Okay, the most recent version is here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/HD123/1458553 I created a scrollbar recently, and wmays made an image for it. When we need a scrolling system, we will incorporate it with TechMaster. Currently we need a minimization system, a better media system, and lots of other stuff. Most of the stuff here we still need to create. The scrollbar is at http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/HD123/1300314, and the scroller image is at http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/wmays/1542575.

EDIT: For MeshMeet, have you considered using RAGE? (rageprogramming.weebly.com)

Well, if we used a graphical programming language based on Scratch, we would still want to upload TM 2.0 if possible. I know a web site by Daffy22 that lets you upload projects created with mods of Scratch called Mod Share. Even though Rage is listed, I still think we should use a more known mod of Scratch like Panther. We might not even use a mod of Scratch. Sorry to disappoint you
Also, we might not create MeshMeet.

HD123: how's the minimization system coming?
Wave: how close are you to being done with alerting your programmers about the merge?
Anyone (possibly soft319 or wmays): once HD123 is done with minimizing, would you go through TM and epic-ify the graphics

Lol, make TM2.0R.

And check out my new version of TM! It's in the gallery.

Dear member of the Wave OS TW collab,
The wave OS TW collab is not dead yet. In order to keep it alive, it has merged with the TechMaster OS 2.0 collaboration. Please regroup at http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=449308#p449308. Thanks!![]()

I commented on the Sound Editor's projects from Wave OS.
BTW, until I am finished with the minimization system, please do not make any new versions of TM 2.0. If you want to continue working on TM 2.0 while this update is in progress, create a seperate project containing your update. Thank you.

I've got a problem with creating the minimization system.
As you know, a while back I removed minimization. I did that for a good reason. Before I made this big update, when you dragged a small window, the OS thought you were dragging your mouse to highlight something on the desktop, so it created a square on the desktop. There is nothing wrong with this, but it does not look professional. I did not want to remove the feature that allowed you to highlight items on the desktop, so I removed minimization and added a feature to TechMaster. I added a variable called "desktop on?" which would check if there were windows open or not. After I created this variable, I could debug the desktop-highlighting glitch. A minimization system would change this feature entirely, and I might have to start over with this feature. This would be difficult, but just as doable as last time.
When I received the task of creating a minimization system, I went to the gallery to look for an older version of TechMaster without the minimization system. While I was browsing, I stopped to think. I realized that we have added a lot of apps, features, and other things since we made that version of TechMaster. It might be more work to add the programs and features to the older version than to remove the "desktop on?" feature from the current version and reprogram it. The only problem with the second option is that I don't quite remember what scripts had that feature embedded (In short, I don't know how to remove the system from TechMaster).
What should I do?
↑ Forget about that. I have removed the "desktop on?" system. I will add a minimization system and reprogram the "desktop on?" system very soon.

Try reprogramming the desktop environment entirely. The desktop boxes happen with the volume slider, too. Suggestions:
Mute Button
More uniform app icons
Simpler, Mac or AWN style dock
Multiple Workspaces.

Is it OK if I make the workspaces system when hd123 is done with minimization?

Sure. Can you and the programmers work on the rest, though?
