How to delete a project off the website without losing comments, number of views, number of love-its, number of tags, project notes, etc.
I'm not sure if this works on all computers, I know it works on windows 7 and mac.
On windows:First, download and save the project if you haven't already done so. Next, press Ctrl s and a window should pop up asking you what filename you want. Put a name. Then, delete the project. You'll still have the webpage saved on the computer, along with comments, views, etc. Nobody else can view it,but you'll still be able to. I had you download it because the java applet doesn't work when it's downloaded.
On mac: Do the same as windows, except press command s instead of ctrl s.
Mods, if this isn't where it belongs, please move it.
So, what will you do with this trick? I'll probably take all my extremely old projects that I made when I knew extremely little Scratch, off the website.

By reading it, it looks like it will work on any OS that can run a browser and Squeak (what Scratch runs in), which includes Windows, Mac, and Linux.

I do it all the time.

Can you reupload the project with all the comments and stuff though?

no, I don't think so.
EDIT: You could upload the .mct file to something like megaupload, then post a link to it, though.

Yes, share it under the same name. It has to be the same name though, or it won't work.
