You know how with sprite galleries not everyone can post and it's a pain to get the sprites? Well, here, you can post your hand drawn sprites/backgrounds etc for other people to use. Here is how you get your images on the forums:
1) create image (either by hand or on computer) and make sure it is than transfered if needed to your computer.
2) save it to an easy to remember place (like you desktop).
3) go to an image uploading site like imageshack and upload it
4) ONLY COPY THE [img][/img] tags (and what's inside)
5) paste it inside 2 url tags ()
or, continuing step 4;
copy all of the [img] tags to create a clickable picture
Now, to get them into your project:
1) right-click (ctrl-click) and choose "save as" and save it somewhere easy to access (desktop is nice)
2) make sure you save it as "example.png" (without quotes and replacing example with it's name) to make it most clear
3) go to Scratch, open it, and choose paint new sprite
4) go to where you saved it, and click it
There you go. Remember, post multiple poses of your sprite unless it's a background! We don't want a Mario that can't run!

Do people want basic outlines or colored in sprites? Cause the live paint bucket isn't really that great…

I like outlines so I can choose what color they are . Colored in are ready made so you don't have to do work, but it might be a color you don't like.
