I am making a game. it says file too big. I have deleted sprites and compressed pictures and sounds. the file is still too big. If i delete any more sprites my game won't be as it should be.

It's annoying isn't it?
Try compressing the sounds and images more... not TOO much more quality should be lost.
How big is the file, anyway?

Only 100 kb? That's not very big. The limit on the website is 10 mb or 100 times larger than your current file size. When are you getting the error message (what button are you pressing) and what exactly does it say?

We are experiencing technical difficulties that prevent new users from uploading projects. We'll give more updates as we have them.

Your firewall may limit the size of data uploaded via an HTTP "POST" request. Try uploading a completely empty project. If that works, then this could be the problem. If not, adjust your firewall settings. Certain firewalls can prevent you from uploading your project to the site. It could also be that you need to allow direct access to the host "scratch.mit.edu"
If none of these ideas help, please send us your .sb file and describe the steps you use to share your project. Please send this to: scratch-try@media.mit.edu
