Possibly a Variable Glitch?

You see, I am making this ball traveler game and if you touch black you lose.

And I also put variables on the screen to indicate lives and the level and when the ball touched the variable's black words on the screen, I lost for some reason.

Maybe someone had already got this problem and its being fixed or Its new.

Anyway its REALLY annoying.

Re: Possibly a Variable Glitch?

Because it sensed the black lettering on the variable

Re: Possibly a Variable Glitch?

The text may act strangely when you are making your sprite, but it also is sensed just like anything else. i actually had this problem in one of my games. It wanted to bounce of a button. The best thing to do is just barely change the color.

Re: Possibly a Variable Glitch?

The best way to make sure it only senses what you need is to use touching <Sprite>.

Or create a sprite that is an empty box the color of your background and put your variable inside that...then you won't be able to see the box.
