My friend just opened an account. He's new to scratch, so he doesn't have any projects. I want to add him as a friend, but he wont show up when I search for him. Why? Pls help!

Hey xboxfan, the Scratch search is a customized Google search - new users don't show up right away in the search until Google indexes them (which takes a while).
If you want to find anybody on Scratch, just type in http://scratch.mit.edu/users/[name of user here] in the address bar (for example, if you wanted to find me, you would type in http://scratch.mit.edu/users/cheddargirl). Hope this helps!

Wow, thanks, cheddargirl! That clears some things up with me, too.
