I'm having trouble playing a song.

So I'm trying to play this

http://www.youtube.com/redirect?q=http%3A%2F%2Fdragonballnoah.webs.com%2FXion-Final-Battle.zip&session_token=FcdBB31k5bMM-DZ6mdMEFGBkMZN8MTI5NDg4NjcwNA%3D%3D

on the piano

The problem is that some notes lag behind. Some have said to change the single stepping to turbospeed to reduce lag. This reduces some of the lag, but now I know that lag isn't the issue here; the notes still play incorrectly.

Basically, what I'm asking is: How many beats correspond to a quarter note? People have told me "1," but this doesn't work. I don't know what else to do. Thanks if anyone helps.

Unfortunately, all music programs lag on Scratch. As far as I know, it is unavoidable.

You were right- a quarter note is 1 beat. You might find the chart on this Wiki article helpful.
