Well, let's see...how many scripts and sprites are there? It depends on the number of how many sprites and scripts there are for what size the file is. If there is a small amount of things in your project...well, I don't know what else to tell you. If there is a huge amount of things in your project...of course, try lowering the amount of sprites and scripts the best you can. If your project is not really that important, I would lower down the amount of things if I were you. If you're really sure that you're project is an almost 100% "keep-your-eyes-on" project.......... oh man... then I just can't help you anymore, Zadoc... Well, good luck.

Just one more thing...what's your project about? Whatever you say, if I have no clue that is, I'll look it up. If I know what you're talking about, then I'll tell you right away.

Oh man, I keep on getting interrupted by this Frets On Fire thing I'm doing. I'm just importing Guitar Hero 2 songs. I'm still listening to all of you, I'm still trying to help, I'm concentrating. I'm just having a little bit of trouble. I wish I could close Frets On Fire, but I really don't wanna.

I have a mac running Leopard. When I try and upload a project a message pops up saying I have to restart my computer. I've tried downloading Scratch again but that didn't work. I have some really awesome projects that I want to post, please help.

We are new to Scratch. Have tried to upload/share files from blank project (0 mg) to 1.8mg, but am getting "Failed: Unknown Reason" error message. Been trying this for a couple of days. Internet connection is speedy and file size doesn't seem to be an issue. Would appreciate any thoughts you might have.

I Just tried to upload a complex game and it keeps messing up with errors I clearly already solved if you looked at the code. Did I do something wrong?

Sometimes if you haven't typed your user name and password exactly right when trying to share your project it will not upload. Confirm your user name and password are correct by logging into the Scratch site first.
Also, Scratch cannot upload projects through a proxy server; it must be able to connect directly to the Scratch website. One way to check this is to look at your internet proxy settings in your control panel.
Or, your firewall may limit the size of data uploaded via an HTTP "POST" request. Try uploading a completely empty project. If that works, then this could be the problem. If not, adjust your firewall settings. Certain firewalls can prevent you from uploading your project to the site. It could also be that you need to allow direct access to the host "scratch.mit.edu"
If you file is too big, make your file smaller by compressing. To decrease the size of your file go to: Extras menu > compress sounds, compress images. If that doesn't work, try connecting from a different computer or connection or web browser
If none of these ideas help, please send us your .sb file and describe the steps you use to share your project. Please send this to: scratch-try@media.mit.edu

Hey wert7!
It's great that you have come to the forums and learned how to post to threads. We look forward to hearing your opinion on all kinds of topics. But please keep your posts related to what is being discussed. Posting random stuff on a thread is sort of like interrupting a conversation - quite rude.
