Re: Douglas Adams

I haven't read them in a while, but my favorite character from the series is Marvin the Paranoid Android.

"Brain the size of a small planet...."

Here's a site of Marvinisms I came across

WRONG.  People always associate the series with 42, but that was just a passing joke to be giggled at and move on.

I have to agree. It's spread way too far. As you said it was just one little joke. Anyway, I'm all with 36. I mean can a number get any more awesmoe than that?

He is funny.  I like when they meet him at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe and realize he had to wait the millions upon millions of years necessary to get there.

"The first ten million years were the worst," said Marvin, "and the second ten million years, they were the worst too. The third ten million years I didn't enjoy at all. After that I went into a bit of a decline."

For some reason, he really REALLY annoys me when he's not being funny...  hmm
But he's usually pretty funny.

I can think of at least of seven numbers more awesomoe then 36.

I remembered something I figured out in math class that makes 42 awesmoe when placed beside 2. If you think of things that relate to 2, 42 is one of the most pwn things i found. It has 2 didgits, it is a multiple of two, both of the digits in  it are muliples of two, ...
