i'm worried
after people started saying i "stole" pictures from Tribbleofdoom or i used her pictures for reference, i told them that i didn't. But someone started a protest saying i didn't and that they believe me, which i'm sure will just start a fight. I'm afraid that the fight will result in me being banned because of the protest. I have a side account but.....this is my main account and i have many great friends on this one, so if it gets out of hand....please don't ban me. My father told me that he will not let me do scratch again if i get banned, i'm just scared......what do you suggest i do? :'(

I don't think you'll get banned. Just don't lash back as replying to disrespectful comments is not okay.
Simply flag the offending project. When reporting the project, remember to state the problem, so the Scratch Team will be able to review the issue. Hope this helps.

Just don't argue back with disrespectful comments, and let it cool. Contact the Scratch Team, and they will help you settle the dispute.

Like others have said, don't respond to hateful comments - it just makes everything worse. If anyone is being mean, just report the offending comment/project, and the Scratch team will take care of it. And don't worry; as long as you don't join the fight, you won't be banned.

Actually, the Scratch Team said themselves that replying to disrespectful comments usually gets both people banned...
