Is there a way to do a batch import of images for stop motion?
So, how do you load a bunch of pictures at once into scratch?
Also when we get to around 100 images, it starts to slow down.
Any knowledge on how to improve performance as well?
thanx

Hey funutation, you can upload multiple pictures at once by highlighting the images and then dragging the images (as a group) onto Scratch in the taskbar.
As for performance issues, it's likely that the large file size and large number is images is causing the program to run slowly. Scratch has the ability to compress the file size of images and sounds (found under 'Edit' in the menu bar); you can try that, but just keep in mind that it might not solve the performance issue entirely (especially since it sounds like you're working with several images files, which will definitely bog Scratch down) - you may want to try to find a better workaround for some parts of your stop-animation, such as by using movement blocks to animate movement instead of using several frames to perform the same thing.

But how do you highlight them as a group? I can only highlight them by there selves.

Assuming you're on a PC, hold down the Control (Ctrl) key and select each image, then drag them into Scratch. If you're on a Mac, you should use either the Command (⌘) or Alt (Option) key, I'm not sure.

Although make sure you don't do it within Scratch, by using in the Import New Sprite Button... You'll need to open the actual folder outside of Scratch, and drag the files in from there...
