Maybe buy a new Aspire One Netbook w/ a AMD Athlon II Neo processor and ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics controller to replace my current Aspire One.

My argument is, whenever I goto a forum relating to Crysis, 89% of topics are about how to run it on the highest settings possible, and how to achieve it. It's not like COD or Halo, where people play it, not caring much about how to run it at the highest settings.
However, that doesn't bring down the game in 'gameplay' terms at all. I am sure it's fun, and it does look interesting.

Graphics cards sure have reduced in price. Let me look at their price
1GB = $80 - 270
2GB = $500+
4GB = $1000+
I went to my local computer company's website and built a PC for under $2000 (I didn't buy it but this was it's specs.
Cost just over $2000 with extra warranty and built by them
6-core 3.2 Ghz processor over clock to 4.2Ghz (6 processors running at 4.2Ghz Wow)
16Gb RAM
2Gb Graphics
Windows 7 Professional 64bit
1Tb Hard Drive
+ All the other parts.
Compare that too a store computer for around $2000
Quad Core i7. 3.3Ghz
6Gb RAM
1Gb graphics
1Tb Hard Drive
Windows 7 Professional 64bit
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

I have a mobility radeon HD 5730 1gb dedicated. Can run any game on high with acceptable performence, although it struggles with very high settings. Can run Crysis on all high and effects very high 20-27fps, Just cause 2 runs at 30+fps on high. I think may processor (intel core i7) may be doing all the extra work though. I'm working on a CPU speed tester in scratch right now. You can check out the early version: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/30bla30/1501319
I think it only works with quad and single core right now. Dual cores deliver weird results.

Well, I have tested out my GFX card with Blur. First of all, it's a great game. Second, I rarely ever see any slowdown, even at the highest settings possible. I only see slowdown if there is tons and tons of things on screen, like on the Docks lvl.
Other than that, it works fine. Also, Trackmania on very high works flawlessly.
