So, I was uploading a project. When I finished writing the project notes, I clicked OK, and the loading screen came up. It finished loading completely fine, but when I checked the website, it wasn't there! I thought it might have been lag in the server, so I waited a minute. Still not there! I tried uploading it again. Still no luck. After writing half of a Troubleshooting forum, I realized that I ad named the project with the same name as another project I made! I changed the name and uploaded it.

Never name a project the same name as another.

Yep. I even deleted an old project, uploaded a new one of the same name and the old one came back in its original place.
Though this is useful for updates and retrieving accidentally deleted projects and such.

That's a nice moral right there!
I didn't knew that updating a new project with the same name would cause such an error. Thanks for sharing this with the community.

I did that once, and accidentally replaced an old project that I didn't have on my computer anymore. I contacted the Scratch Team, and being awesome, they restored the old project for me.

I also did that once. After that, I found this in the Scratch FAQ:
Can I update my existing project with a new one?
Yes, if you upload a project with the same name as one that is on the website already, the new project will replace the old.
But fortunately it was just a test project, so it didn't really matter.
