Make your own with php.
I've made a login system. So far you have to be physically at the server to modify stuff but admin accounts could be created easy. People post through forms.
steps
Design layout
Build Example interface.
Build basic php database and enable posts to be posted to the database
Make server show all posts in database on a separate html template one after another.
Build Alpha Design.
Debug

Make changes

Release first version. Get money from it (Monthly fees. $10?).
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

I know nothing about how to code in php. That's why I use premade ones.

I have had multitudes more success with punBB instead of PHPBB. Easy install, and very easy to mess around with settings compared to PHPBB. I also had a login glitch with PHPBB, so I gave up and went to punBB.
