• Daffy22 is working on a flash video.
• sparks and the team has started to develop the
website

yes. But you'll make it look like a news paper right?
Offline
what do you mean 'look like a newspaper'? i don't understand
Offline
This is looking good.
Programming freak, you can make it look like a newspaper by giving it a curly font heading, (though a simpler font for the text is good), try and give the area a light grey background and maybe some kind of "pages" drawn on one side.
Offline
should the whole newspaper be a picture?
Offline
Not sure. Maybe use html to make the newspaper a background image, then put the text on top... Either an i-frame if they come with transparant background options, or some php thing that lets moderators update the news from a seperate moderator page!

Making something like that would be easy if it's just one thing you want on the page with no history, use fopen, fclose, etc for that and then just include('news.txt'); on the home page. But if you want history, you could put that in MySQL tables.

what do you mean?

History: not-so-latest news (archived) would need MySQL but if it was just text displayed unedited you could use fopen and fclose to display a .txt file over the news page.
How's stuff going?

I've been busy sense the holidays. I'll work on it now. Um, do you think you could find me a picture of a newspaper. I'm kinda scared of searching at the moment since my mom just had a horrible virus. Almost crashed her computer.

That is another reason why i like having web blocks, It will block a site if it has a virus or anything on it.
