Well ok. This is what happened.
I've been best friends with this one kid since first grade. We both ended up in the same 7th grade science class.
So we had a pretty good system running. Knowing how stressful 7th grade can be, we sometimes copied off of eachother. Mostly Math.
So this morning I got completely careless and it ended up that she saw me ( just my luck too) it was just a few (about 10) problems I needed to get done before math class. So
she just took it away and went.
Now I literally last my sanity for a while, and decided to try to learn what was happening before I did. I was unsucsessful. So now I'm thinking "WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN? AM I COMPLETELEY SCREWED? ARE WE BOTH COMPLETELY SCREWED?"
So now Im wondering if they're going to send an email to my mom, or call, or at the very worst SUSPEND me.
I'm real scared. No questions were asked besides by my math teacher. So of coarse she told her. Well she asked who I copied off of. and if I took it or he gave it to me. Well I was really trying to get my friend in the least ammount of trouble. But there was no way to tell her a lie. And I am not the lying type. I almost never lied in my life.
So now what do I do? I really don't want discouraging comments like "it's completely your fault and you diserve it" maybe it is, but if they really knew EVERYTHING ( you know what I mean if you've read my last post ) then they'd let me go..... Just please help !

I am sorry, but cheating is wrong
Don't do it again.

Yes I know. I wouldn't have posted this if it wasn't

It's partially your fault but I wouldn't worry too much, some bad things happen but they don't last forever. Getting in trouble or something won't kill you.

Believe me, seventh grade is harsh and I don't blame you. Our school has a HUGE no cheating policy so I would get suspended for at least a week.
Don't cheat from now on. It's just one time. Tell the teacher that it's all your fault and the friend had nothing to do with it. Honesty always takes the punishment down a notch. Don't worry and life will come easy.

Please don't.

Also try explaining it to her (or him) in the truthful way, but without saying you often do it, just try not to mention if you've done it before.
And your probably unlikely to get suspended.

Do you think i wouldve already had a punishment if there was one the day it happened? ( this morning ) there is a possibility she just threw the papers away. But not likely.

Another tip is make sure your mum doesn't see this topic!
(Not sure how she would though)

Well, sadly there isn't much leeway in this since you really were cheating here, and thus, cheating has a tendency to make you look, well, untrustworthy to your teacher. It's possible that the teacher may begin to question your other homework assignments as well.
There isn't much you can do, but you have to confess the truth at some point, otherwise you'll make matters worse.
One option you might want to consider when talking to your teacher is for making up for the assignment that you cheated on - perhaps your teacher can consider giving you a similar assignment of the same difficulty, just different questions.
Oh, and don't ever cheat again. Cheating might sound trivial right now to you, but it does carry serious consequences in many ways.

After getting caught "cheating" on the assignment (Monday's homework) I litteraly lost my sanity and began to wonder what would happen.
I have realized that what I was doing was considered cheating and I knew right away there was going to be a huge punishment for that. I have seen other people doing it a ton of times and never really thought anything of it. What happened was that I couldn't afford to get another bad grade on something. (but of coarse look where I am now) I asked him if I could borrow his for the answers to the back page. And my mistake was that I was way too desperate that I got careless and did it right in front of Ms. Rosemann. (but my overall mistake was probably not forcing my eyes open last night)
But whatever happens is completely my fault. Please don't get [full name removed by Moderator] into trouble. Being the way he is, he couldn't stand but to help his friend.
I will do anything if it means not getting suspended, or having Brandon get into trouble, even take a 0 or maybe I could redo it or a different assignment. I just want to forget about it and know I have the rest of the time until summer to prove I'm not some kind of "school criminal"

Is this any good? I'm about to send it

If you copied off each other a lot, I think you deserve it.
Anyway, don't even try to make it sound less than it is.
Cheating = punishment. Not cheating = no punishment.
You shouldn't have cheated in the first place.

And this only happened a couple of times. He'd usually give me the answers, but (I'm not lying when I say this) he'd also help me understand the math during lunch

Really, the best way to recompense is to truly understand that you were in the wrong, and be the first to admit it.

I like how you say to tell the teacher his friend had nothing to do with it, and then you say he should be honest xD.
