I'm surprised at the number of negative comments we have here on our small attempt to send well-wishes your way.
So what was your biggest problem with the message, please choose one:
1. Took up too much space on the page
2. Didn't like the message
3. Wrong color
4. Font too small
5. Font too large
6. Stayed up too long
7. Nothing - it was fine the way it was
Any other comments or suggestions? Would you like to see any kind of seasonal changes to the forums?
By the way, I loved the custom messages by Blade and others! That would be cool if we could do that. Maybe in the next release of Scratch...

2. Didn't like the message No, I think the message was great!
3. Wrong color No, the colour doesn't bother me
4. Font too small The font size is fine (but a bit small compared to the area)

6. Stayed up too long A bit, but that didn't bother me (I wasn't really bothered by the message at all)

After a little bit of thinking, I think it's the 1st reason - took up too much space on the page. For the one at the main site, it took up less space and if you found it annoying, you could just ignore it. However, for the one at the forum, you couldn't ignore it easily because it took up so much space.

EDIT: WHY do you put messages on the forums? We can clearly see them on the Scratch home page.
