I've seen so many topics in this forum which are indeed advanced, but not actually to do with Scratch.
The description of the forum states "Talk about technical aspects or advanced features." This means technical aspects of Scratch, and advanced features of Scratch.
If your post does not fall under these criteria, it belongs in Miscellaneous.

The forum is generally used to ask for help with or talk about about:
•Scratch Modifications
•Gaining access to Squeak (Shift-Click-R)
•Editing the System Browser
•Advanced scripting
•Scratch Extensions
•Scratch interacting with external programs
The forum is not for advanced features that are outside of Scratch.
This is sometimes confused with All About Scratch, especially when it comes to topics about scripting. Some people consider certain things to be more advanced than other people, which is where the confusion comes in. There is no cut off point for how advanced something is. It is best to use your own judgement. There is sometimes a problem with mixing it up with Sensor Boards, because they could be considered an advanced subject. As mentioned above, there is also confusion about what kind of advanced topics it covers. It is only to do with Scratch, anything advanced outside of Scratch belongs in Miscellaneous.

this is much more detailed. Many topics should be in all about scratch but people think they should be posted here. Nice!

This has come to my attention before; but the moderators and Scratch Team have made a topic about this here already.

No, this is about posts that are advanced but not about Scratch, it isn't about how advanced something is and whether it should go in All About Scratch or Advanced Topics...

It is very difficult to determine exactly where some topics go. If I find a topic here that does not belong, I mention kindly that I think it belongs elsewhere and then try to answer the question if I can. This, at least, generates a kindly feeling to the advanced topics fora. Consider the two possibilites:
This does to belong here!
Mods, move it!
Hi, I'm not certain this topic belongs here as it can easily be answered in this section. However, since you ask, why not try...?
I think the second option allows you to make it clear that the post was in the wrong place, while not scaring or upsetting a possibly quite young scratcher and letting them know there is a better place for any other questions they may have that are simiar to that. You can still click report and get it moved, but it just makes the fora a slightly nicer place to be in
