It would be really good if you could use a joystick with Scratch. It could work kind of like a pico-board or something. Some basic things it could sense are X axis/Y axis, slider, Z rotation, point of view hat, and of course, button sensing. I would like to see this new feature more than any other one.

If you really can't wait then you could look up a program called joytokey which maps joystick buttons to keys. But yeah, native joystick support would be neat, not high on the to do list though.

Have you looked at the Sensor Boards forum? It's about programs or devices that you can use with Scratch.

I know that, but then it will only support people that have Joy2Key.

I have a Thrustmaster joystick/jet controller thingy, which I can use for everything from Flanker 2.5 to the emulator Project64, to Need for Speed Carbon. I really want to use it for Scratch......

You know there is a software made by ManaUser called Joytail that allow to connect joysticks to scratch? View topic here http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=270112

I have a jet controller thingy too. It's a Microsoft SideWinder Precision 2 Joystick.

There's two problems with it though:
1. You have to download it
2. It doesn't include very many functions. Just X/Y Axis and button sensing.
