But aren't the robots against the aliens? Or are they both together against the humans, with the robots working for the aliens?

I'm thinking we should have 3 separate campaigns: one for the humans, one for the robots, and one for the aliens. SRR, can I be a theme designer  ?

What about this. The robot were human inventions but a wire on the main robot slipped and it started creating robots against the humans. Have any of you seen Tim Burtons "9"?

Hmm, I suppose. Yeah, how about this, an ancient race created the robots, but then sent them as probes out into space, but the Robots had a glitch and tried to destroy the humans...

OR The aliens created them, but... I don't like that because I'd like it if the aliens and robots fought.

Maybe the Robots could have formed out of chance and weren't created by anyone...?

any of you ever read the book "I, Robot"?  by Isaac Asimov.  basically, a glitch in the programming of the 'bots causes them to turn against humanity.

i like the aliens and robots fighting. because then we can have parts where the aliens save the player from the robots, or visa-versa, and parts where they run into each other and battle. anyone ever seen "Aliens vs. Predator?"

No, but maybe the robots don't care who they help or who they kill as long as it helps them in there want of destruction o something.

you're all missing the point of my idea.  the humans created the robots with the express purpose of defending the doohicky (yes that's the scientific term), but we forgot to program an exception for humans, thus the machines are defending the doohicky from us.

okay...though i don't see how one would forget to put that in..but whatever
