I need to know how to make a sprite as a gif!!!! Please and thank you!

okay, when you get to the paint new sprite screen click clear and then click "import" goto where to file is and click okay, if you mean export as a gif, then goto the sprite click "export" save it somewhere, then if you have a mac right click it in finder and clik "get info", goto "file type" in the window that pops up and change the extention to .gif, if you have a windows opperating system then, find the file, right click it, and chose "properties" and change the type to gif, sry if i didnt explain that one as good, its becouse ive got a mac but still use pcs at school.

You cannot make a sprite an animated GIF, but there is a free program called GIMP and I am pretty sure that you can make animations frame by frame. You can also download a trial of Adobe Flash and make an animation and save it as a GIF. If you need to know more about Flash, then go to http://w3schools.com/flash/default.asp.
