Games That Would Be Great On The DS

These are games I think would be great on the DS

Idea by SlayerEW

The Whole Collection Of The Final Fantasy Games - Just imagine that! 13 EPIC GAMES ON THE DS! I'm a not a massive fan of Final Fantasy but they are a bunch of games that would be good to go on DS.

Idea by Aidan
Reason by SlayerEW

Minecraft - This game has been out for more than a year now and seeing it on the DS would just be.......
....epic. I think the multiplayer feature (which obvously be run by wi-fi) would make it very popular on the DS because lots of people have been waiting for ages for an MMO on the DS. It would be an epic sandbox game and I would expect some various game modes (even an RPG mode would be good  smile  ). No doubt, this would be a best-seller on the DS.

Idea by blazerv82
Reason by SlayerEW

Need For Speed 3 - This game will be a great racing car game on DS.
blazerv82 wants it to be the exact same way it was when it was released which was around 1998.

Minecraft has been made on the DS in 2D but isn't made officially by the maker of Minecraft. Plus, it only works on the DSi.

I can't think of anymore games.  sad
Tell us which games you think would be great on the DS.
If I think that your ideas are good, I'll put them right above with the other games.
If you don't have a reason, I'll just add one.

*cough* Minecraft *cough*

Don't even try to argue. That game would be epic on DS.

I am leaning toward GH: WoR. Not the cruddy On-Tour series.

Or a better Burnout.

Pretty Hate Machine, Broken, Closer To God, The Downward Spiral, Further Down The Spiral, The Perfect Drug, The Fragile, And All That Could Have Been, With Teeth, Year Zero, Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D, Ghosts I-IV, The Slip, Pretty Hate Machine 2010

Stuff Guitar Hero! That would suck! (Sorry, I just hate Guitar Hero so much because I'm a guitarist and I get sick and tired of people saying that they are better at guitar because they got 100% on TTFAF on Expert. I'm sure if they had a real guitar they would suck at it).

But bring on BURNOUT!!!!!!!!

You know the Ice Hockey game for the NES?

I wonder what that would be like on the DS.

Same goes for Excitebike.

It's just a game, obviously Guitar Hero will never be like playing real guitar but most players I've met knows that already. It also kinda encourages some of them to play real instruments - one of my friends played Guitar Hero nearly every day and now he's a really good guitar player for his age  smile

Agreed with Warriors of Rock, and Minecraft 'cause it looks good  smile  My DS broke recently though D:

yeah sorry, i was addicted to guitar hero
i then wanted to play real guitar
i got really good
i am really good now but i just didn't want to play the game anymore
oh and plus, i consider myself a gamer and i think guitar hero is for noobs.
but you've got a big point.
without guitar hero, i would be a stupid DJ (oh and yes, rap has a silent c at the start of it).
DJs don't make real music.

Re: Games That Would Be Great On The DS

Why Burnout?

Legends was a fail on DS. Bad crash mechanics, bad graphics, bad everything. The PSP one wasn't much better.
----
Bring on the Revenge. 'Nough said.
----

GH was so much fun on DS. However, the lack of any good songs in the 2nd one made me quit playing. 'Modern Hits'? No. I don't listen to that. I want to see roughly 50 or so songs, a 5 button controller, and overall better animations. And maybe GH Mix 2.0.

As for you, SlayerEW, I play because I look to better my skills at playing Plastic Guitar, and to just play for the sake of playing along to some good music (and showing off at that). Not to say 'O, now I can play real guitar cause I play GH'. I am severely lacking any practice in real guitar.

i needed to stop playing guitar hero because i was lacking on practicing on my real guitar.
yeah it's good music, it's just...
...look people at school tease me and think they're better than me at guitar because they play guitar hero and get 100% on this and 100% on that.
I DON'T CARE! I'M SICK OF IT! AND THEY THINK THEY'RE COOL AND EVERYTHING, I'M SICK OF IT!  sad   sad   sad   sad   sad   sad   sad   sad   sad

Actually, I am the only one who really plays it anymore. You don't find many people online (that I have found, anyway).

And as for the school thing, ignore them. They are obviously jerks who don't know a thing about how to play a real guitar. Let them wallow in self denial.

I have always respected real guitarists once I learned how hard it is to play (GH is a somewhat good interpretation of real, however, it's NOTHING like real).

My thoughts.

That's why I said better. Legends was horrible on PSP and DS.

A remake of 2, 3, Revenge, Dominator, or a brand new one would make me happy.
Heck, a remake of NFS3 would be awesome. Just keep everything the way it was.
Or a remake of Crash 1-3.
Remake of Tekken 3, 4, 5, or Tag (I can't wait for Tekken Tag 2)
Mortal Kombat Trilogy or Deception (not the UMK3 that's out already)

In any case, I want to see a full game, not one 'slimmed down' or 'exclusive' just for the portable console. I hate it when companies do that.

sorry.  sad

Second, NFS3 sounds like a great idea.

Third, you meant Crash Bandicoot didn't you?

Fourth, I've only played Tekken 6 which I play at my old neighbour's house on his PS3. And, of course... IT WAS SO FUUUNNN! That would be awesome on DS.

Dont worry about being sorry, I guess I should of italicaied it in the first place. Dang internetz..

Moving on, Crash Bandicoot is who I am talking about. However, he's more of a Sony guy.

When I say NFS3, I want it to also LOOK like it did back in 98' (or whenever it came out). Include just the tracks/cars in it. Only thing I would change is adding more cop cars. Maybe all cars in both racer/cop form?
You can not beat the epicness that is NFS3. It really is one of the best racers I have played in a long time. It's such a good game that I re-bought for PC around 2005, and found the PS1 equivilent in the same year. Only problem is, Win7 will not let me install the game  hmm  Nor can I find the voodoo patch.

Civilization?
Star Wars KOTOR 1 & 2?
Driver 2? (Driver for 3DS, yay; Also Driver: San Fransicsco soon)

Crashday. Now, fix the physics, a few bugs, add a couple of more cars and weapons, keep the same theme, and your good to go. Another great (sadly underplayed) computer game.

First, I was thinking of that but he's multi-platform now.

Second, NFS3 wouldn't be very hard to port to DS from my oppinion.
I'm really good at computers, maybe I could fix your game and allow it to install.
I think if I could make The Sims (realeased in 1999 for those who didn't know) install on my pc, then it should be piece of cake fixing your game.

Third, Civilization is already on the DS but a port of the old versions wouldn't be hard work. Civilization II was my favorite. After playing that game, I started playing stuff like the old Warcraft games (not world of warcraft).

Fourth, did you just say, STAR WARS KOTOR?! Far out. 5 words. Best. Star. Wars. RPG. Ever. Never seemed to work on my computer so I just played it on my brother's PC.
I've never played the second game though.
