Wow.
I know this is just for that university, though languages changes, and having words change value or meaning is part of the process. Obviously people who just hate these terms all hate change. How does calling something epic for example, hurt our culture? Really. If you prefer the old days when g*y meant happy, then sorry, but you have to drop some things, and let it go.

But I don't care what anyone says; I will continue to say words that aren't even remotely bad. I don't care if I'm banned, I can make a new account. If my IP gets banned, I'll come back with a masked IP and develop proxies. You can't keep someone off the net forever unless you kill them.

Uhh...I was saying that it was false...1. because it's just 1 university, and 2. Fox keeps on getting it wrong...

Are they going to ban the phrase "unnecessary censorship" next? Because I imagine they'll be hearing it a lot.

"It's an absurdity followed by a redundancy. First, things are full or they're not; there is no fullest. Second, 'live life' is redundant. Finally, the expression is nauseatingly overused. What's wrong with enjoying life fully or completely? The phrase makes me gag. I'm surprised it hasn't appeared on the list before." Sylvia Hall, Williamsport, Penn.
Wow, he's talking like it's offending.
And why are they banning words because they're overused?

How is that sexist?
Edit: We should all start using these words in context.Maybe because of the word "man" in it.
Wooooooooow. That's probably right.

Most organizations and companies should really just man-up.

You know, I'm looking at this banished word list and I'm just wondering - what exactly is it? It is a list of words that they don't like? Is it a list of words that are not encouraged in academic use? I'm confused.
