Minefield Business

I have a band
Well kind of
I'm still learning to play the guitar and drums and whatnot but a few of my friends and I plan to start something as soon as I'm finished
One of my friends plays the bass guitar and the drums, one plays acoustic, one plays electric, and pretty much all of them can sing
I'm pretty sure we're gonna be called Sparkling Rainbow Avenue due to our lack of a better name

Yeah, that was a really good one.

Still sounds too metal-ish.

Alternative rock names consist of names that are often named after a place (Fountains Of Wayne, Linkin Park, Soundgarden) or just something random (They Might Be Giants).

These seem like short, memorable names (I seem to hate bands with ridiculously long names) to me.

Going back to our bands' discussion - I'm trying to form one as well, with me on either guitar or bass and vocals. I also play a really tiny bit of drums and keyboard 

I am the guitarist/singer in mine. We just need a bassist and if possible a rhythm guitarist. Our drummer's already taken care of.
