Music Video

How do you make a music video with Scratch without letting out your own voice for the song with music and everything??? I've seen people do it.

Math Trick of the Week: Choose any three digit number that's one digit is at least 2 less that the tens digit and the tens digit at least 2 less than the hundreds. Then, reverse the digits and subtract. Then, reverse the digits in the answer and add. You should get 1089.

Re: Music Video

It's basically an animation like any other (by looking at your My Stuff page I assume you know enough to make a simple one), except it has music playing in the background. My guess is that the animation must be at least a bit coordinated with the music, e.g. if a bit of the song is about loneliness show some guy alone on that bit.

You'd probably have guessed that you need the [blocks]<play sound[ [/blocks] block to play the music, and to coordinate the images use the [blocks]<wait(  )secsc>[/blocks] block or similar.

I hope that helps - since you didn't specify much I tried to tell you a bit of everything  smile

Re: Music Video

You mean import music?  Or do the animation?  I'm a little unclear on what you mean, could you elaborate?

Re: Music Video

sometimes, I want to make my own song, but I don't want to let out my voice. Like in the project I Ain't Have No iPhone, They have the song, but I don't think the Scratcher actually recorded it. How can you do this???

Re: Music Video

You need to change the file format to .mp3 or .wav.  Both of these can be imported through your own files (usually found in Username>Music).  It's really not all that hard.  If you need a converter for .mp4 files, simply google it and you'll find some good programs for that.

Ask someone else to sing or make a instrumental song I guess. Or just take an existing one - that's what most people do.
