Ok, well, this is a bit of a "Happy 2011" gift to, like, everyone reading this, so lets start:

1. First off, you might want to have a pretty cool user name that might come up if somebody searched something. (ex: Somebody searched "epic tree fight" they might see floatingmagictree as a result. If the username is cool enough, they might click it to see that person's projects. Maybe. If you're lucky.) It also depends on if they know that person. If they do, they'll already know if that person is nice, and it might help if you're much nicer to everybody. Like I'm giving you these tips, and people will probably like me and know me more after this. So even though this has been brought up TONS of times, be nice to the community and always help people when you can.

2. Post EVERYWHERE and ALOT. But don't overdo it, you'll get really annoying. If somebody goes to a bunch of forum topics and see you posted on alot of them, they might go to your stuff to see how you're like.

3. DON'T make those little pictures that pop up when somebody looks at the picture of your project. You can do it alittle, but if you do it too much, then people will get smart and not look at them at ALL because they know it'll probably just be another lame project anyway.

4. When you get some comments posting suggestions for your project, be sure to add them! Just make sure when you upload it again, it has the same title as before. Then reply to the person who made the suggestion and say something like "Hey, I added your idea to the project". This will make them check the project again to see it with their idea in it. MAKE SURE TO GIVE CREDIT IN THE PROJECT NOTES EVEN IF THEY SAY THEY DON'T WANT ANY CREDIT. When they see both of these done, they will think you are even more nice than before. And being nice always counts in the end.

5. Last but not least, when you are making a project, be sure to stick with it completely. DON'T GET DISTRACTED. If you do, you'll get an idea and start another project, and your old one will be down in the dumps. Believe me, it's happened to me tons of times, and half of my projects were from a really, really long time ago.
