Scholarships

I am just curious. Does anyone know of any good scholarships that have to do with programming or science?

Also, has anyone won any scholarships?

(I have won one so far. It was worth 1000$)

Re: Scholarships

My friend won a 1000$ scholarship two years ago, and it was the day after I beat her and a bunch of other kids in a math team competition but they didn't even say anything about me winning on the school's announcements because they were busy having my friend make a speech about her scholarship
Oh well, it was good for her

Re: Scholarships

I've won a few scholarships before, and I have my eyes on another one.  smile

Off the top of my head, I don't know of any general scholarships aimed at programming or science, but most schools with science or programming courses usually offer some kind of scholarship within their school. You could try asking your teachers or school guidance counselors if they know of any good scholarships or financial aid programs for those who want to study or programming.

Re: Scholarships

I haven't gotten one yet. They give them out sometimes at the Pennsylvania State Science Fair though to high schoolers. Those are science ones, but I don't know if you're in Pennsylvania.

Re: Scholarships

I think my sister got a £2000 scholarship but she went to a different school anyway.
